Kathleen O'Brien

Executive Producer

After retiring as President and CEO of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), an IPN Broadway presenter, Kathleen founded KatLoon Entertainment, a production company that focuses on bringing new works to the stage that tackle social issues and themes through thought-provoking entertainment. Current projects include Part of the Plan, Perfect 36, and American Prophet: Frederick Douglass In His Own Words

 

During her time at TPAC, she was a Broadway League member and Tony voter and was awarded their Road Marketing Award.  Additionally, she received the  Arts Icon Award from Lipscomb University.  She was also honored by the Nashville Association of Talent Directors, the Nashville Repertory Theatre, Nashville’s First Night (theatre) and was awarded TPAC’s prestigious Applause Award.  She serves on the board of the Arts Bellevue as well as the College of Entertainment and Arts Advisory Board for Lipscomb University. 

 

She and her husband live in Nashville, TN and Belgrade, ME with their two cats Simon and Garfunkel.
